My L1 B extension was filed on 10 May 2011.
My US visa and I-94 expired on 30th May.

USCIS updated my status to RFE on June 7.

    1) Can i continue to stay in US until I receive the decision for RFE?
    2) How much time does USCIS gives for replying to RFE?

1)As far as the extension is filed and pending decision, you can continue to work in US until decision is made on extension/RFE. No need to worry about the visa or I-94 expiry dates.
2)Not sure, but I believe it will be communicated to you by your employer. One of my friend had the same situation, he was given 2 months time to reply to RFE and he got the decision within less than one month after replying to RFE.

Is your company processing your extension under 'premium processing'? How long does it take for you to get the status as 'RFE' after you received the "Receipt' number?
