Visiting India on L1B Visa

Hello,
I have a valid L1B visa till Jul, 2013. I arrived in US last year in September, 2010 and have been here since then.

I wanted to go out for a two week vacation to India to meet my family and I have requested a leave from my current employer. I work here as a business analyst and have visa granted as a specialized knowledge professional.

My immediate manager fears that I go back to India, there might be issues on returning back here to the US as the current rules keep changing. So they are a bit reluctant to grant my leave back to India.

would anyone know if there is a problem returning back to the US, on valid L1B visa. I am planning a trip to India in the month of Oct, 2011 for two weeks.

Any suggestions/advise would be really appreciated.

there should be no issues, the visa is stamped, you have a lot of validity left...just make sure u carry all the docs with you...at the port of entry that can be questioned...your organization is giving you crap just to keep you from going on vacation
