L2 visa for spouse

Hi,

I am in US and my L1B visa is expiring on Sept 30 and my company has filed for an extension last week.
After i get the confirmation reciept can i file for an L2 visa for my wife who is in India or i will have to wait for my Visa extension result.

You will have to wait for the petition to be approved. Your wife can then apply using the new approval notice.
