L1B extension expiring but valid I94

Hello,

I came to US in 2008 on L1B visa. I renewed my visa last year which is now valid up to Nov-2012, but my I94 is valid till Aug-2014. Can I stay and work till 2014 or I have to leave the country in 2012?

I-94 date is important for staying in the US.
Visa is only a travel document.
