If L1B Extension gets rejected in US, can apply for L1A from India?

If L1B Extension gets rejected in US, can we immediately go to India and apply for L1A from India? Please suggest.

L1B and L1A are different

Hello,

L1A and L1B are two different category of visas. As far as I know of you should have worked in an executive capacity at the Company's subsidiary overseas for at least a year before you can apply under L1A so if you have worked as Manager/executive in India for a year then you might qualify for L1A. Please do check with your local HR as well as experts before applying for the same.
