L1B Extn in RFE and regarding Documents for PA DMV

Hi All Gurus,
My L1B Blanket Visa & I-797 & I-94 and also My PA Driving licence expiring on Nov 18 2011. Currently I have applied for L1B Extension and recieved RFE for which my company has not yet replied but I heard that they will reply in another week or so (I have done my part). Upon checking with Local DMV for procedure and documentation needed for license renewal, I learnt that they need the 1-797 filing (Extension I797 and not the original I797) and Reciept number from USCIS to renew for the period of 240 Days when it is in processing/RFE.

I'm checking with my company, but they always beat around the question rather than saying they can/can't provide the documents.

My question is, In this status (L1B Extn in RFE) do my Company has these documents to share with me or is it something my company also cannot do anything about?

I need to drive to office but not sure, how things unfold. There is lot of confusion in there.

I really appreciate any info. in this regard.

Hi Manju,

I dont see any issues in sharing the I797 copy, atleast I would request them to share the first page of the I797 which shows the receipt number and filed date.
