COS from L1B to H1B regarding

Currently i am working on L1B and i have got my visa until 18th Dec,2011 and I94 untill Jan,2014.

Currently my wifes's visa is L2.She is working on EAD.
My wife's H1B got approved yesterday but the start date is from 1st December 2011.

Another employer has applied on premium for my H1 B startiing from Nov 28th 2011, if my H1B gets approved ,it means from Nov 28th automatically i will get converted to H1B then i will lose my L1 and my wife will lose her L2.

From 28th Nov to till 1st December 2011, my wife will be neither on L2 nor on H1 and i assume she will be out of status..

Does it have any impact ?

I think so.
If you want to be fully safe, she should leave the US before your H1 gets approved and return with an H1 Visa after her H1 start date.
