I am on L2 visa with EAD. My husband has L1 visa and working for a company. both we have visa validity till 2013. Incase, If my husband's company asks my husband to leave USA, is it mandatory that I also have to leave USA as I am on L2 visa? or Can I work and stay till visa end date? Please clarify

L2 Visa Validity
Without L1 there is no L2. So if your husband has to leave US, it would be mandatory for the L2s acquired on his L1 to leave US too. L2s are dependent Visas enabling primary L1s dependents to come to US. The only way round would be to get yourself a H1 from your current employer, but that's a different process. This is as per y knowledge, please do seek opinions from experts too.
