L2 dependent visa

Hi,
I'm currently on L1 visa which is valid till May 2013.
I'm getting married in Feb and applying for L2 dependent for my wife.

1. Will there be a separate petition for L2 visa or will my L1 petition hold good for both?
2. While filling the DS 160 form, what should i give in the petition number column? my L1 petition number ?
3. Do i need to accompany my wife to the interview in the consulate as i don't have to go for my visa stamping, which is valid till 2013?

I guess the question 1 answers the question 2, but i wanted to know if the same petition will hold good for both.

Based on my limited knowledge here are the answer to your queries:

1. Will there be a separate petition for L2 visa or will my L1 petition hold good for both?

Ans: There is no separate petition for L2, Primary L1's petition would be enough.

2. While filling the DS 160 form, what should i give in the petition number column? my L1 petition number ?
Ans: Yes.

3. Do i need to accompany my wife to the interview in the consulate as i don't have to go for my visa stamping, which is valid till 2013?
Ans: You do not need to accompany your wife.
