Hi

Currently I m on L2 visa. Our visa is getting expired in a few mnths so my husband has filed with his company for extension. At the time of filing for extension I was not working, so in the forms we mentioned that I m nt wrking. However, now I have got sm gud offers n wud like to join.
Would it b a prob if my employment status changes from the time of filing?
I need the information urgently as I need to give my answer to the company offering the job.

Do you have a valid EAD? You need a EAD to work while on L2 Visa.

Yes I have a valid EAD. My main concern is ,wud it b a prob tht my emplyment status at the time of filing was diff and later it changed (in case they have background check)

Urgent!!!

You can work till EAD expiry date. As you are currently not working, thats what should have been put in the extension form and thats what your husband did. No issues. This is my opinion, do not consider it as legal advice.
