Gov Authorised Court Affidavit in place of Marriage certificate for L2 Visa

Hi,

We got married on 1st dec 2010 but we didn't registered our marriage. so we done the court afidavit
with our marriage photo on it with our signatures i.e. myself and my wife. the affidavit was signed by gazitee court officer with government of India stamp on It . other than this we have our mariage Photo album and wedding card. my wife also have my name as her husband in her passport. is this sufficient for L2 visa processing.

I have a similar issue. I do not have marraige certificate but i got a similar affidavit done in nov'16 for my passport renewal.
Will that work or should we get a latest affidavit.
