L1B & L2 Interview

Hi There,

Thanks to this site where all the VISA applicants share their experiences with VO.

As I am slowly moving towards my interview for L1B, I do have some queries which I would like to put here so can get expert advices.

1. I do have valid B1 & by using it I got a chance to visit USA for business purpose. My stay was for 3 weeks. It's valid for 10 years. Does USCIS cancel the existing B1 if they approve L1A or L1B?

2. My & wife work for the same organization now a days. As a applicant I am applying for L1B & she will get L2. However my wife's previous organization help her to get the L1B stamping done but she never travelled on that.

Will it impact on my application now? (VO should not think that my wife's L1 B was just for a name sake)

>>> It depends on the VO. They may cancel it if required.

>>> It is not an issue. It is not compulsory to travel just because you got the visa stamped. When she applies for L2, her previous L1 will be cancelled.
