L1 Extension - Approval in 2 days

Dear All,

I submitted for the L1 A extention on 26th April along with I 539 for the dependant.

I got the recipt number for the dependants ,but not for the I-129. When I looked up the status in USCIS for the dependant's approval status, it shows that "your i-129 petition for non immigrant worker has been approved on 03/28 " .

Does this mean that the original petition is approved ? just checking as I have NOT opted for the premium processing. Please le me know frineds.

Well, I believe you are looking at a wrong case (receipt#). I129 is for L1 and L2 status will not display like that. I think you need to wait for the approval notice in mail, to find out what is going on.

I539 shows that its approved .How ever, the pricipal applicant has not yet recieved the receipt number.I called up the Immigration officer and he said that the only option is to wait.

Logically, the principal applicants i-129 should have been already approved..correct?
