  • L1 to H1B

I have L1b for employer A and H1b got approved for employer B w\start date as 1oct2012. This also state validtty from 1oct2012 to 30sep2013 and I94 date as well. So does that mean I got petition and I94 for 1 year?
So I need to go out of US before 30Sep2013 for getting visa stamped?

    >>> Yes. Check the validity in the H1B approval notice and the attached I-94.

    >>> Visa is only an entry document to U.S. You need to get the visa stamped only if you leave U.S and want to re-enter back in H1B visa. If there is no reason for you to leave U.S until Sept 2013, then the employer can file an extension.
