Minimum direct reportees for l1A

My employer is planning to convert L1b to L1A visa. I manage 4 direct associates and 2 offshore associates. Are there any minimum number of reportees must for a successful conversion?.

There is no minimum number. What is important is that your work is managerial in the true sense of the word where you are managing their work, reviewing their deliverables, directing & supervising them etc and not doing just people management. Also you need to be managing folks who by themselves are professionals - supervising people who write code is not considered managerial.

If your direct reportees have more folks reporting to them; include them as well in the organization chart

Thanks for the information. With around 14 yrs of experience, I do review associate's code, perform technical solution analysis and provide technical guidance. Does that score bad in my application?

The basic idea is that a Manager is not someone who is plainly doing people management or someone who is more of a "senior" team member doing most of the work himself and a bit of supervision
