Hi,
We are currently in a very delicate situation with our visa.
Below is a snapshot of my situation.
- Came to US in September 2007.
- Went back to India in October 2010 after L1B extension was rejected.
-Applied for a fresh L1B which got approved and I came back on the new L1B visa in December 2010
-Currently L1B extension status shows RFE (which directly goes to my company for further action).
- My family visa is valid till August 22nd 2012, however the dates on I94 vary for my wife and my kid.
-My I94 is valid till Aug 22nd 2012 and my wife and kid's I94 is valid till Feb 2014. Does this mean that my clock was indeed reset?
My questions are:
- Was my clock reset/ started all over again with my new L1B?
- Will my stay be considered from Nov 2007?
My wife is due to delivery anytime now and I am really worried with the current scenario since I'm not sure how long I can stay in US if the extension is rejected.
Can I request for extension under medical conditions of my wife?
Thank you very much in advance for your help and guidance.
