L1A visa shift to another company & apply for Green Card

I am on L1A visa and my company might close down business in the next few months. I have been approached by another company which wants to hire me and they wish to immediately apply for my green card. Is it possible for me to have L1A visa from one company and apply for Green card from another ?

On Which visa are you going to work for the next company? One cannot transfer L1A from one company to another. This is my opinion not legal advice.

You won't get any proper response until you mention on what status you are planning to work for the new employer. H1B CAP has closed a long time ago. L1 cannot be transfrred to a new employer. So how are you planning to work for the new employer?
