L2 to H1B

Hi,

I am on L2 and I-94 & visa expires on Aug 31st 2013.

1. If i apply H1 in next april i.e 2013-2014 quota and get approved. Can i stay in US between Sep 1st - Oct 1st 2013, as my I-94 got expires in August.

2. If not, Can i apply for I-94 extension for 1-2 months As i have approved H1. does it have chances to get I-94 extended ?

-- You cannot, most likely H1 will be approved without change of status.
2. If not, Can i apply for I-94 extension for 1-2 months As i have approved H1. does it have chances to get I-94 extended ?
-- Yes, if your spouse's L1 status (I-94) extends beyond Aug 31, you can extend your L2 status based on that. Application can be filed up to 6 months in advance. (Mar 1)

Likely not, because your current status does not extend up to OCt 1.
