Hi all,
I have posted this question on another message board, but the responses have been swinging all over the place. I was hoping that I would get more solid advice here.
My husband was given the 221(g) form last week at his interview. I have heard that this is pretty standard when they want more information, or need further security checks. They did tell him that they wanted more security checks done, but what seems to be different on mine that ***'t on someone elses is that on the letter it said it has been sent back to CIS for further review, and to contact the local CIS office for further information. I have gone there and no one seems to have any idea why they sent me to them. Hearing this, I am hoping that there are people who are in this forum that can tell me what happened in their situation. There is only one on the other board that has gone through this, and it was for a K-1 Visa (ours is a CR1).
