R2 visa

Hi, i came to US in 2002 on R1 visa,after
one year while my visa was still valid my stepmom,a U.S
citizen sponsered me for agreen card and my R1 visa was
status was changed,now in 2006i got marriedwhile my green
card is still pending and i m working as religious teacher.
Now my question is that Can i apply for my spouse for R2
Visa,as a dependentand if yes, does this apply will affect
my status? i will be very thankful
to youfor your response.

If you no longer have R1 visa, you can't apply for R2 visa for your spouse.
