Extension or greencard
I have been in USA for over 2 years and an R1 visa. My visa expires in June. If l apply for my green card now will it be processed in time or do l need to apply for a years extension?

If you are eligible to apply for Adjustment of Status (I-485) then you do not need to worry about your status, since it will change to "aos pending" and you are allowed to stay until your petition is denied or approved.

Renew/applied for GC
