I had my I-360 approved in March. On April 3 I applied for I765, I131 and I485. The dates for I765 are current. I have been waiting for my EAD but have not received it yet. My R1 visa expired on May 31 2008. I was not working for 2 months but I start work back on August 1. I am really nervous. My attorney told me that I didnt need to renew my R1 since I would get my EAD shortly after I apply. It is taking longer than expected and now I am out of status. What should I do. Can I still renew or apply for R1? Or shd I just wait for my EAD. Your help will be much appreciated.
