  • GreenCard for religious worker

    Hello,

I was hoping someone can help me....

I am a British citizen that is currently in Tampa, FL on an R-1 Visa working for The Salvation Army in youth ministry. My Visa is due to expire at the end of the year and so I am looking to apply for my Green Card through employment. After lots of research i honestly, am no nearer to figuring out exactly how to do this and which forms i need.

Do i need to just apply with a I-360 form or do i need to apply for an adjustment of status because I am already in the United States? Do i need to fill out paperwork or does my employer? If so which form do they fill out? I-485, I-140, I-360? What type of Green Card do I apply for HB-4? As I work for a religious organization? What is the cost?

Any help or information you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated so I can try and get this process underway.
