Hello,

I am currently on OPT and my OPT end date is April 01 2013. My employer will be applying for my H1B on April 1st. Can some one tell me if I am will be eligible for CAPGAP ?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Yes, you will be eligible for cap-gap. However, by default USCIS puts the receipt date for all petitions received in the first week of April as April 7 or something. So, some follow-up and wrangling may be needed to be done. Your employer's lawyer should work on this.
