F2 refused after 221g white slip

My wife's F2 rejected after submitting documents requested according to 221g white slip. VO asked bank
statements, pay slips, w-2, Income Tax Returns, degree and transcripts. The reason is not stated clearly. I am on OPT and my OPT expires in june 2013. But I am filing my H1 in April 2013. Should my wife appear for another F2?
What are the chances of getting Visa approved for second time.

I just started working on 15 jan 2013 for current employer before that was working for 1 year for another company and my wife's visa was on 15 feb 2013. This might be the reason? Please advice.

Generally, the reason for F2 denial is immigrant intent. She can try again and if that does not work, she can try for H4 Visa later.

If it was denied for immigrant intent than they should mention by giving 214(b) letter. But there is no such letter instead they have sent same 221(g) letter given at the time of interview and returned all documents along with passport.
That means my application is still under 221(g) or it is denied. Because as of online status it say " please see the instructions or letter given at the time of interview "and its the same 221(g) letter.

We were confused for what document we need to submit for one of the listed document on 221(g)

It says " From the Petitioner "

" A copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed with USCIS "

We asked this question at OFC centre they said you need to submit I-20
I think there might be some more documents that were missing. If you can
help me with this what type of documents they were looking for ?
Do we need i-134 for F2 Visa. And who can sponsor my wife it has to be me or
my father can sponsor her. or her father can sponsor ? Please advice

I am OPT and it expires in june 2013 but applying H1B in april 2013.
Is there any other option to overcome 214(b) in my case as OPT is left for
4 months I think that might be reason for rejection.

My OPT expires - 30 June 2013
MY F-1 Visa expires - 6 Aug 2013


If i can have admission for june 2013 in my current university and can have i-20 .
Than it will be a good option or do i need to go with current situation

They have asked for the wrong documents. She should submit a letter stating that the documents are not applicable for her as there is no petition for F2 Visa.

But we asked at OFC and they said i20 is ur petition. Then we submitted all the documents then they rejected visa.

Should i try again for F2 ?

OFC knows nothing about all this. They are just a processing service. She should try again.
