Arrested for misdemeanor on an F-1 visa

Hi,

I was arrested for misdemeanor embezzlement and im worried about getting deported. My main question is how will the authorities be able to find out that i am on F-1 if i dont tell them so? Will i be told about the possibility of getting deported before i appear in court....or will i find out on the day i go to court?

Authorities are sure to find out ... probably...in fact you wouldnt bve able to hide away this fact that simply...she says best...an attorney, preferably soft on immigrants can help most here.
