I am a Canadian and going to study in US. From my understanding, I could apply for F-1 visa at the point of entry with my I-20. However, I am having a problem with filling out the marital status on my I-20 application form currently. I already submitted application for divorce to a court and it should be granted by the time I enter US. Would it be ok if I just write "divorced" on my I-20 application? If I do write "separated" and my spouse is not coming to US with me, in that case do I need to write my spouse's information on my I-20 application?
