I have quite a special case here. I graduated in May from my MBA and I applied for OPT. Got the card on June 1st. Got a job offer on July, but had to cancel it to go home for a family emergency that lasted quite a while (3 months). I then applied for a B1 Visa to go back to the US, as I wanted to meet with a possible employer (this is around October 11). The company wants me on board and they said to ask the school if I can still do OPT, but I'm afraid they will report that I passed the 90 day rule.
Can you transfer from B1 to F1 OPT after accrued 90 days of unemployment?
