F2 to F1 Change for status for Fall 2015

After 5 months, they changed my the status check notice. It is now showing that they received my correspondence and reviewing my application stuff. If they need anything more they would let me know by mail. Does anybody knows how long its after reviewing application to make a decision?

I am also waiting for the change of status from F2 -> F1.
I e-filed my documentation thought ELIS on June 5th and now it has been 2.5 months.
And I am still waiting...
Is calling to USCIS helpful ?
