Hello,
I need serious and urgent help. Please guide me.
I am on student visa in USA (F1), but i want to convert to Visit/tourism visa (i guess it is J1).
Not able to decide whether i should take this step or not. Do people get through this successfully (what history says)? I am afraid, if visit visa gets rejected and student visa also get cancelled by doing so. That will close all doors for me. Also, my immigration is also filed but will take approximately 2 years to get called.
Actually i don`t want to live in USA long term or study, but i want to visit every year, because my family lives there. I am currently in my home country Pakistan, and i want to apply for different status from here. Please guide me, should i go for it or not (if it is safe or not) or low chances.
