  • F1 visa DS-160 filling from US

I have a question regarding DS160 forms. I and my husband both are
currently working in US on H1B visa. We both have been admitted to PhD
program in a University in USA. We both will resign our jobs sometime in
June, return to India and appear for F1 Visa interviews in India. We are
filling DS 160 form in advance so that we can get desired date for the
interviews. While filling DS 160 forms we got confused at two questions.

    1) Present Employer

    2) Is your spouse in US?

My confusion is that whether we should fill this information with present
information (i.e the day I am filling the form) which will mean providing
the name of current employer and yes spouse is in US

or should we fill this information as we expect it to be on the day of
interview which will mean unemployed and spouse not in US.

    3) I entered US on F1 Visa and have change my status to H1b but I do not
have a H1B visa stamp on my passport. So, what information do I needs to
be provided in DS160 when asked about previous visa, F1?

Also, can we both appear for our visa interviews together?

      Hi,
Did you (and your wife) get your F1 stamping in India after COS in the US? How was the visa interview process?
What kind of questions do they ask once you are already studying in a US institution?
I'm in the same situation as yours. Please advice.
      Thanks.
