Re-entry into US
Hi,
I was on F1 from 2013 August and accelerated my studies to finish my graduation by Dec 2014. I got my OPT EAD valid from 18th March 2015 to Feb 17th 2016. I did not get any job all the while in US though I was trying high and low. I got a job back in India and so before my EAD got over I came back to home country on Feb 3rd 2016. My I-94 was D/S. After coming back, I was going through various details and then realised that I could not be unemployed for more than 90 days while on OPT. But I was unemployed the whole time. Was I out of status? Will I have any problems if I try for new visa category in the future because I am trying for jobs under the G4 category. Please advise me.
