SEVIS Transfer from UG to Graduate after OPT
Hello,
I completed my UG from US and went on to work during my OPT period. Meanwhile, I applied to a graduate school and got my SEVIS record transferred. My UG visa is valid till Dec 2018. I have my new I-20 from the graduate school and was told that I don't need to apply for a new visa and that my old valid f1 visa along with my new I-20 should allow me to get in the country. I know that is true for transfer students but does being on OPT change anything?
