Graduated and out of status

Hello,
I graduated in may 2017 and since then have not applied for OPT. Since I was pregnant during that time and my son was born in July, I could not leave the country and return as well, what options do I have now?
Can I register again for another course?

You can apply for F-1 reinstatement within 5 months, but you'll have to show that your loss of status was due to factors outside your own control. I think your 5 months might be up, and I'm not sure you can demonstrate that you were not in control

You can get married to your US citizen partner and apply for adjustment of status - that is the most straightforward approach
