Am I in soup with my F1 ?

Hi

At present I am in US with my valid H4 visa ( Till 2010) . Currently I applied for COS to F1. I got my receipt number, but my case is pending .

Now my husband ( H1B holder) is planning to change his job . If he will do that before my petetion is approved/dennied, what are the situations which I will face with my F1 petetion ?

Can anybody explain it in details? I will really appreciate that .

Nothing. As long as you legally hold H4 status, you will be fine. H4 is not dependent on the company that H1 works for but rather on H1b maintaining the status properly and the H4 I-94 being valid. As long as these happen, no issues with the COS.
