My wife is on F1 visa. Her OPT period started on Feb 4th and the 90 day unemployment period is expiring on May 4th. She joined a consultancy last week on April 10th and started the training with them. Yesterday, she got an internship offer. The internship start date is June 10th. We have a little one who is 9 month old born in US. We would like to go to India before my wife starts internship on June 9th. Our tentative travel date is April 22nd and May 30th.
are there any risk involved in traveling on OPT? is it ok to show the offer letter from the consultancy during Port of Entry?
