  • Student visa snatched away, advice needed.

[OH] A family member of mine has Jordanian citizenship. He was granted an F-1 student visa in the Spring of . He studied in the U.S. for three semesters, Summer , Fall , and Spring . everything was going smooth. The guy is a straight shooter, never got involved in anything even remotely shady, and was just honestly going through the motions. reverse phone lookupnba redditpcpartpicker
In the summer of , he left for Jordan to visit his family accompanied by his brother, who is a green card holder himself. One week after entering Jordan, he was called in for a mandatory appointment with the U.S. Embassy and was told on arrival that his visa had been revoked. When he asked for a reason or additional clarification, the response was: "no further information is available at this time." He was also told that he could apply again if he liked, and the application was denied on the spot. He was refused even a return to, collect his belongings, sell his car, terminate his lease, and just get his affairs in order.
Has anyone else had experience with this? Is there any way to appeal? The situation for young people in Jordan is not very positive and now he's stuck until further notice.
