F1 Visa revoked while in US without any reason

Hello all,
Please help.
I am on student visa currently in US and I just got an email saying my student visa has been revoked. I checked my status online and it says visa is valid. I am confused on what is true. I was searching online and it looks like visa is usually revoked when person in US is caught for something illegal, which has not happened in my case.
Any advice on this is hugely appreciated.

Hi,
I just got an email from [email protected] saying my visa is revoked. I am currently on OPT. I contacted the US consulate in hyderabad they asked me to attach that email and send a email to [email protected] I did that I got a reply saying they will respond. Any one know why this happens and what the procedure is moving forward.
