What are the differences in the quality of education between community colleges and UCSD for international students, and is community college significantly worse in this regard? Additionally, as an international student facing academic disqualification, would transferring to a community college to maintain your student visa status be a worthwhile option considering the potential cost savings in tuition?

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe they offer valuable opportunities for international students. My acquaintances have told me that it provides affordable education, a supportive environment, and a diverse student body. So, I would be interested to hear from you if you have learned anything new about this? By the way, you might be interested in reading an article about the dos and don'ts when applying for college scholarships. Some things were surprising to me, so I'm glad I read it and feel more prepared for my college application process.Last edited by Davidletta; 05-29-2024, 05:31 AM.

most community colleges don’t have 4 year degree programs. They are primarily for associate degree programs, university transfer courses, and trade certifications. Most CCs don’t offer bachelor’s degrees and if they do it’s only for a few programs. There are hundreds of them throughout the country and each has their own curriculum and course planLast edited by hermis; 07-02-2024, 09:04 AM.
