Change in Passport number need urgent help!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm writing this in connection with my passport which has been renewed(so the new passport number) because it was damaged. Indeed, I've given GRE/TOEFL on old passport which had another passport number. Please tell me how this will affect my admission/visa procedures. Please help me in this regard I shall be very thankful to you.

Make sure you carry both the new and old passports and if asked do explain the situation and I am pretty sure you wont have a problem with passport issuse.

There should be no problem

However make sure your passport number is the same on your I20 as the one in which visa is issued. However please do not open the sealed envelope you get in the consulate in case your visa is issued.
