I am a newbie to the whole temporary VISA thing, and have a question about the process involved in getting a TN visa.
I am a Canadian citizen working for a US based company (my company has a branch in Canada which is where i work). I want to move temporarily to Maui Hawaii (1-2 years max) and work remotely for my same employer ... is the TN Visa the one I want? What's the best way to approach this?
I should mention that I am a software engineer and thus can work anywhere there's an internet connection!
We don't have an office in Maui, but my company might be able to supply me with some application work or letters or whatever may be necessary to get the application through all the red tape.
