can i apply for and use VWP(ESTA) if I have a green card? In other words, I wish to use my VWP country passport instead of my green card passport. My Green card has expired as of May, 2021, but I have filed for a renewal and got approved. I am just waiting for my biometrics appointment. I got a re-entry permit because I am currently living in Korea for Educational and Family reasons. My re entry permit is also expired. I really need to get into the US early this February, can I use my VWP passport and VWP to get into the USA?

What do you mean by "green card passport"? Your permanent resident status exists independently of any passport. Do you mean you have an I-551 stamp on that passport? Do you have the I-90 receipt which doubles as a 12-month extension letter?
