    further administrative processing

    hi to everyone, i just wanted to ask if anyone here who has attended an interview for a tourist B2 visa and the consulate told me that they have to do further administrative processing for my visa. I am living here in sydney for almost 5years now. the consul took my passport and said I have to wait for 6-8weeks for visa processing but the thing is I need to go home to the Philippines on the first week of december. how would I know if i was given a visa or can I just get my passport back? please. i really need help. thanks a lot.

    No one can tell you in advance about the outcome of your administrative processing. You will have to wait for it to be completed.

      thanks for the quick reply. is it possible for me to just withdraw my application? and get my passport back?
