Inviting parents during H1 Transfer (filed, receipt received)

Hi,

My H1 Transfer is under progress (through new employer) and I have received the file/receipt number for it.

Can I use it to file application for my parents B1/B2 visitor visa? Or shall I wait till the transfer process is complete and I receive the new petition notice document.

Is it okay to provide this document to atleast get the appointment (Mumbai)

You don't file an app for them. They do it in India with papers sent by you.
If you only want to send them an invitation letter, you can send
it with the copies of the receipt you mentioned and your H-1 stamp. If you also wish to sponsor them with an I-134,beware.There are several posts on this forum about H-1s sending I-134s for their parents and the consulars have rejected the visas, saying they do not accept I-134s from H-1s.
