  • Query on Visa Interview

    Hi,

My dad (age 60) is working as a Factory Incharge at an Industry. His leave is approved for 4 months and its a paid leave. We have taken leave sanction letter and also salary details which show PF is deducted from his salary.

The annual income is Rs.1,98,000. We have some FD's maturing in future and a flat of our own. My mom is a homemaker.

We are funding for their whole trip.

Is the annual Income too low? My parents stay alone there as i am their only daughter? They dont have any other dependants other than my Grandmom's . But my Grandmom's dont stay with them. They are at native place.

Is it safe to tell about grandparents to show strong ties or will effect the annual income amount of Rs.198000.

Do you have any suggestions/ tips for the interview? How to answer any questions on annual income and strong ties in India.

    >Is the annual Income too low?
For what ? You are the sponsor, arent you ? Even if the income is too low or too high, what can you do about it ? It is a verifiable source of income. Dont fudge it.

    >Is it safe to tell about grandparents to show strong ties or will effect the annual income amount of Rs.198000.
I cant see how these two things are linked.

Although I feel it may be tough for your parents to be granted a visa, be truthful about everything. Don't hide or make things up. Honesty is the best policy and I have seen people with less chances but with honest answers being granted visa more number of times than dishonest people with **** answers. Best of luck.
This is my opinion. Not a legal advice

my moms and sisters visa rejected

my mom and sister had interview on 11th dec
their purpose to come was to visit their daughter..an they were coming on self sponsored visa.
so they arranged all their financial and other supporting docs..i just sent my green card copies since i am a housewife and didnt send anything of my husbands income as they applied for self sponsored visa.
VO asked every question related to the trip, my moms and sisters duration to stay..my sisters college certificates but they ended up asking about my husbands details like salary stubs, citizenship papers..and since my mom didnt had anything she cdnt give it ..n the vo went inside made my mom n sister wait for 20-30 mins and came with this 2 papers saying the visa is rejected under 221(g) section and 214(b)
why did they ask for my husbands financial papers when they were self sponsoring the trip..
      what can i do now?
