  • Visitor Visa(B2) - No I94 number to Fill in Form I 134

    Hi ,

    I have recently come to my home country for Vacation and in mean time i have applied for Visitor Visa for my parents, in which i am sponsoring for their Visit. Now i have filled DS 160 form and have applied for Visa interview. Now for my parents i need to fill Form I 134 . In the Form I 134 i need to Fill the I 94 Record Number i,e point (e) "If you are lawfully Admitted nonimmigrant, Give Form I 94 , Arrival Departure Record, Number ." . Since i have come to my home country i don't have I 94 number to enter in it. What should i do now ?

    Thanks in advance

      You don't have I-94 number currently. Therefore, you can leave it blank.

        @peace999 -My Visa Status is L1B and its valid.
        @immiHelp :- thanks for the answer . So leaving the I94 number blank will not cause any problem during interview ? and also in the Letter to Consulate should i mention i am in India right now and planning to take my parents along with me when i am travelling back.

          I think it is technincally wrong to complete the I-134 while in India.
          The form is designed assuming that the the host is in the US.
          You should have completed it before leaving the US.

          What you can do now is ;

          1. IF your parents have strong family income ( 1 lac/month or more)/ large savings or if one of your siblings in India have that kind of income
          they can show funding, instead of you. That will go in parents' favor. Then they won't need to submit the I-134 form.

          2.Defer the whole thing now , return to US and resume.
