Letter from employer to the wrong consulate!

Hello All!!

Need Help! It so happened that I got the letter from my employer to Mumbai Consulate whereas my parents are visiting the New Delhi consulate. There is not much time for their interview and I was wondering if that would be a problem. Do you think I will have to request for another letter and send it immediately? or is it ok if the address on the letter is Mumbai instead of New Delhi?

Hi,
You can ask your employer to fax the letter to you with the correct address. You can even carry the other letter, just in case the Consular Officer wants to know why it has been faxed, you can mention the discrepancy to them.
