Father (age 57), Mother (age 51) and daughter (age 28) are planning to attend the Graduation Day of son. Should we apply individually or all the three together? We are planning to stay at my cousin's place. Any special letter needed from him?

DS160 doubt
Myself, wife and daughter have planned to apply together for VISA.
In the Form DS 160, there is column which is asking for other accompanying person's name.
Doubt is:
1) My main application is sufficient for all the three travellers or three separate applications are required for DS 160.
2) If I have to apply separately, in DS 160 I give the details of my wife and daughter. When applying for my wife, should I mention my name and my daughter's name and when applying for my daughter, should mention my name and my wife's name? Or is just sufficient just to mention in my application itself?

Financial statement
Sir,
1) I would like to know if financial statements are required from my cousin, where I am planning to stay in the US during my visit, even if the whole travel will be funded by myself?
This question I am asking, because I am consulting my friend (who is also a travel agent- due to shortage of time), has advised me to get the financial status from my cousin.
2) My cousin says, in case the financial statement is required, then he will send directly to the US embassy in Chennai. In this case, how the visa officer will relate the financial status given by my cousin to my visa application.
I am planning to fill up DS 160 on Friday. If some advise is given earlier, it will be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
crrajan

If you are funding the trip yourself, his financial statements are not required. A simple invitation on his letterhead stating his visa status, work status
and that he is inviting you all to stay with him for xxx period ( should not be a long stay).
Also, documents are NOT to be sent to the consulate. They will be trashed. To be sent to the applicant who will present it to the officer at interview if asked for.

Dear Sir,
I thank you for your prompt advice. On the basis of your suggestion, I received invite letter copy (copy is given below). I think this type of letter should be sufficient?
