Fathers Lastname in Passport is different from his Income Tax Returns/Bank Account

Hi,

I am applying B2 visitor for my parents and they are self sponsoring for the visit. In my fathers passport his lastname is mentioned as Gopal Reddy where as in Income tax returns and Bank statement it is Gopal. First name is Chandran

Full Name in passport : Chandran Gopal Reddy
Income Tax Returns: G Chandran
Bank Statement: G Chandran

Gopal is mentioned as G because it is the naming convention in Tamilnadu.

Will it be a problem if US visa officer raises a question during the interview?
