hello All,

I am travelling to USA for a period of 3 months.

I would like to bring my wife for a period of 10 days to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in the states.

She cannot come for the whole 3 months as she is working.

Will there by any problem for her in getting VISA as she is working and she has a valid Visa to Ireland.

Few of my neighbhours said its very difficult to get and few said there is no chance ..

Kindly help in this.

It is possible for her to get a visa but they will look at your visa first.

Are you going on a B1?

Yes.. i am on B1 visa and for 3 months for a Business Meeting a KT( just reached US a week back)

When is your wedding anniversary ? Is it in the middle of your trip or at the end? The reason I am asking is
'cause visa officers sometimes frown at B1 holders spending long periods like 3 months.

Documents are not always looked at but she must carry proof of her employment + income + leave.
ALso, very important ; copy of your visa and US entry stamp . Proof of your employment.

Ok. What she should say is that your business meetings are over and that she wants to join you for wedding anniversary + sight seeing for 2 weeks.
After that both of us will return.

She should take all the documents I mentioned in the last post.

Usually they do not , but in this case they may.

It is important that she says you are returning together.
